The Bauza brand may well be the best kept secret at Casa Fuente. Named after a pre-Embargo Cuban brand no longer produced for export, the cigars are now produced in the Dominican Republic by none other than the First Family of Cigars, Carlos Sr. and Carlito Fuente.
This cigar looks great. A beautiful dark natural color with no significant flaws. I found the cigar a little firm but it didn’t feel heavy. The wrapper and foot of the cigar gave a little grassy smell, nice. I cut the cigar w/ my Palio cutter and lit it with my single flame butane lighter
A bold, gold band gives this robusto a great appearance. This is a very “pretty” cigar with a classic parejo shape. The construction appears solid. There are no blemishes or tears. The seams of the wrapper appear to be well sealed. This Trinidad, also known as the TTT Trinidad, has strong cocoa aromas. This cigar has a wonderful flavor "arch" and from start to finish takes the smoker through a complete range of flavors.
Great appearance, nice medium brown in color and no large veins. Nice Construction, the feel was firm but not hard. Nice straightforward tobacco smell to the wrapper and foot of the cigar. I cut the cigar w/ my Palio cutter
This cigar looks really nice. The band is simple and classic. Overall, this is a very attractive cigar. The White features good construction with no blemishes. There were no veins to speak of and cut easily. It has a nice tight feel that slightly yields. The pre-light aroma was slightly sweet and toasty with nutty hints.
Pre Light inspection revealed a well constructed cigar with no veins, a beautiful Connecticut wrapper and triple cap. Sniffing the foot revealed slight fragrances of earth. Lighting was very easy using a kitchen match. The light was quite even.
Pre light inspection reveals a beautiful square pressed robusto with a perfect Cameroon wrapper. Sniffing the foot, I can smell what seems like Chocolate
Wrapper shows off a fairly smooth texture with only a few veins along with a dark brown color and nice oily look. The cigar has a nice solid feel to the touch. Wrapper and foot of the cigar gave a nice tobacco smell. I cut the cigar w/ my Palio cutter and lit it with my single flame butane lighter (XikAR)
Nice soft appearance with no large veins. I found the cigar a little spongy to the feel. Nice straight forward tobacco smell to the wrapper and foot of the cigar. Very easy draw with mild tobacco and grassy flavor.
